Representative Escobar is running for re-election to the House of Representatives.

Texas— Today, the Texas College Democrats announced that it has endorsed Veronica Escobar as she runs for re-election as U.S. representative for Texas's 16th congressional district.

Veronica Escobar's campaign website:

Representative Escobar was elected to the House in 2018. Since her election, she has been a tireless leader for El Paso, and has continued to be a champion of college and university students in her community. Her fervent support of progressive policies like making public colleges and universities tuition-free, the Green New Deal, humane reimagining of our immigration system, among many others, prove that, in the Halls of Congress, young El Pasoans have a fighter.

"As my congresswoman, I know first hand the type of leader she is," said J.J. Martinez, president of the Federation, of Representative Escobar. "She is a true public servant who cares deeply about all El Pasoans — especially young El Pasoans. I am thrilled that our Federation is supporting her."

The Executive Board unanimously voted to endorse Representative Escobar for re-election.
