Finance Secretary

Development

Because you’re reading this, you’re probably interested in getting involved with the Development Department of the Texas College Democrats. That’s amazing. You’re amazing.

The Development Department does finance-adjacent stuff. That includes stuff we only have to do a few times a year and stuff we have to do pretty consistently. Twice a year, we do Political Action Committee reports; once a year, we make a budget; once a year, we transfer the bank account during officer changeover. Around the clock, we get grants, get donors, make calls, manage donor/grantor relationships, get funds to chapters, and maintain our PAC, bank account, and ActBlue.

It’s fun, but it’s a lot for one person to do. This is why we’re in the market for a Finance Secretary! All training will be on the job. The Finance Secretary will help me with PAC reports, budgeting, ActBlue stuff, all of that.
